Why is the salary shown on my Benefit Statement lower than my current salary?

Your Benefit Statement shows your Pensionable Salary over the 12 months to the 5 April 2026, Pensionable salary is your base salary plus any pensionable allowances, less for those who joined the Fund after 1 April 1989, the lower earnings limit of £6,521 for the statement year.
